This efficient air humidification technology uses high-frequency vibration to turn the water into a micro-fine mist. A fan blows the mist into the room where it immediately evaporates. Ultrasonic humidifiers consume very little power. One unique aspect is the Intelligent Temperature Compensation (ITC) that measures humidity in relation to room temperature and automatically takes corrective action when conditions change. The Quad Band Microbial Protection System (Ultrasonic technology, Pre-heating, AG+ Ionic Silver Resin and Ionic Silver Stick®) keeps the water clean. A replaceable demineralization cartridge ensures water mist without limescale or mineral residues. The cornerstone of this system is the high-tech Ionic Silver Stick® (ISS) which makes use of the proven anti-microbial qualities of silver. Silver is effective against more than 650 types of bacteria and viruses. Best of all, the ISS is good for one year!
