  Pneumatic actuator pulls the cleaner head deeper into the carpet, removing embedded dirt and pet hair. Powered cam adjusts the brush bar while the cleaner head seals to the floor – focusing suction. High-torque clutch delivers more power to the brush bar, opening carpet pile to dislodge dirt. And, like all Dyson vacuums, it doesn’t lose suction.

DC25 Series

 The DC25 Series has "the Ball" technology and the 2-Motor System with True Direct Drive Brush System making it the most efficient Ball cleaning system for any surface.

The DC25 series has "the Ball" technology, the 2-Motor System and it has a washable HEPA filter. Otherwise the DC25 has all the basic features of the DC07, DC14, DC15, DC17, DC18 and DC24 series.

DC24 Series

The DC24 series is similar to the DC25 in features & benefits as it does have "the Ball" technology and the 2-Motor Belt Driven System but it is smaller and less powerful than the DC25 Series. The DC24 also uses a separate motor to drive the brushbar and comes with a washable HEPA as does the DC25. The main differences is the DC24 has a handle that compresses for easy storage in tight spaces, comes with a reversible wand that extends for stair and high reach cleaning instead of a telescopic wand, has a smaller bin capacity and less suction than the full size machine. Otherwise the DC24 has all the basic features of the other series. We recommend this model for apartments, smaller homes, people who require a light weight machine to carry or push around or as a second machine. The DC24 would be ideal as a secondary unit instead of carrying a full size machine up and down different floors in your home.

If your needs are to clean all types of carpeting, hard floors surfaces, furniture, bedding, drapes and blinds and want a machine that is smaller and light weight has easy maneuverability around furniture and pushes with the least effort then the DC24 Series is your choice.

DC14 Series

If your needs are to clean all types of carpeting, hard floors surfaces, furniture, bedding, drapes and blinds and want a traditional upright that is going to offer you the same telescopic wand as the DC15 and the DC17  for attachment cleaning but in a single motor belt driven system  then the DC14 Series is your choice.

The DC14 Series has 50% more Cyclonic Power than the DC07 making it more efficient. It has a wider Front Channel to pick up larger debris, a Telescopic Wand that does not have to be reversed to use the cleaning attachments, a larger Handle for easier maneuverability, as well as the pre-filter being mounted on the top for easier cleaning.
