DC17 Series

Dyson DC18 Series

If your needs are to clean all types of carpeting, hard floors surfaces, furniture, bedding, drapes and blinds and want a Lightweight upright vacuum with a two motor beltless system that is slimmer and lighter than any other Dyson upright vacuum then The DC18 Slim All Floors is your choice.  It is easy to push and ideal for those that want a slimmer and lighter vacuum, for moving from room to room and storage. Like the DC15 this vacuum has the direct drive motorized brushbar to improve pick-up on carpets and is a beltless system. The DC18 has a shorter electrical cord, a smaller dust bin, and slightly shorter telescopic reach. But it is also more maneuverable, can get into places the larger vacuums cannot, and is easier to store.

The DC14 Series has 50% more Cyclonic Power than the DC07 making it more efficient. It has a wider Front Channel to pick up larger debris, a Telescopic Wand that does not have to be reversed to use the cleaning attachments, a larger Handle for easier maneuverability, as well as the pre-filter being mounted on the top for easier cleaning. If your needs are to clean all types of carpeting, hard floors surfaces, furniture, bedding, drapes and blinds and want a traditional upright that is going to offer you the features of the DC14 Series but without the Telescopic Wand and the more efficient cyclonic power but with a larger dirt collection bin and slightly more air watts in a single motor belt driven system then the DC07 Series is your choice.

Even though the DC07 Series is considered the entry level in the Dyson line and doesn't have some of the new technological advancements of the other series remember because of it's superior suction power, Root 8 Cyclone Technology and the fact the Dyson Vacuums are the First Vacuums that don't lose suction the DC07 Series offer the best value in a vacuum cleaner compared to any of the other brands.
